Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored the Central Market and checked out the National Theater. The free valet parking was a lifesaver, and the breakfast really hit the spot each morning. Definitely recommend for a fun group getaway!
One downside was the check-in process. There was a mix-up with our room types, which took a bit to resolve. Just make sure to double-check your reservations.

missingWrote a review on Aug 25disastrous check-inunhelpful service
The check-in process was a complete disaster, with a mix-up on our room type that took far too long to resolve. To make matters worse, the service was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. After waiting endlessly, I received no assistance with my bags, making it very challenging for me and my senior mom. The overall atmosphere felt sketchy and unwelcoming, contributing to an unpleasant stay.

Location was a highlight, with easy access to the national theater and jade museum. The family suite was spacious and perfect for us. Breakfast included delightful cheese rolls and the restaurant atmosphere was vibrant. On the downside, the hotel showed signs of age, with an outdated room decoration and occasional air conditioning issues. Additionally, cleanliness in certain areas left much to be desired.

The location is fantastic for exploring San Jose, with many sights within walking distance. The staff was friendly, though the restaurant service could be slow, and breakfast options need improvement. Overall, a good choice for a few nights in the city.

Location was perfect for exploring. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly. Hot water in the shower is a must for me, and they delivered!
The bathroom was a bit tired. I’d rate the mildew on the shower curtain as my new BFF. And let's just say I didn't come to Costa Rica for their 'delightful' water—tastes like a tap dance in a metal bucket!

Perfect spot for exploring
This place is in the heart of the city, super convenient for walking to all the nearby attractions. Our room was spacious with a nice little veranda. There was a fridge and microwave, which came in handy. Just wish the bedsheets were cleaner! Breakfast wasn't great, though.
